Winston 'Bomma' Bennett, promoter of Rendezvous, believes his April 25 stage show will be an event to remember. Bennett revealed to THE WEEKEND STAR that not only would patrons enjoy his show, which also includes sound clashes this year, but they would have it on their lips long after it has ended. "Of course, I think, they are going to love it. It's a stage show with a sound clash. I did it because people always want new ideas and it is different from most shows," Bennett said. The show, which will be held at Temple Hall in St Andrew, will see the likes of Mavado, Bounty Killer, Busy Signal and Laden performing. Also other performances will come from Chino, Turbulance and Bling Dawg. Selectors Ricky Trooper, Hotta Ball, Boom Boom and Wizzla will contest in the sound-clash segment. "Me know say a long time a show like this don't happen in Kingston, so we decide on this (concept), so there will be two sets of crowd," said Bennett about Rendezvous, which is in its fifth year.
