Her smile graciously lit up the room. And, like any great super model, Cameal Davis, the 2008 'Digicel Rising Stars' winner, walked boldly into her first music video for her new single, 'Believe'.

Since she won the talent competition last year, the humble singer from Denham Town has been featured on a number of shows and events across the island.

Now, she has shot her first video, directed by Kimala Bennett and produced by Melissa Llewellyn of The Production Lab, at Victoria House off Lindsay Crescent.

"I feel really excited. I can't wait for it to be released to the public," Davis told THE WEEKEND STAR about her video that will be premiered on TVJ's 'Entertainment Report' tonight.

Davis hopes that her new video will connect with fans as she says: "I think it will go real far. In the video I made sure that I had real fun, and I believe what you put in is what you get."

The video, which is part of a package she won for being crownedDigicel Rising Star (2008), sees Davis walking through an art gallery, looking at the persons who she deemed as inspirational figures in her life.

Janene Effs, marketing executive at Digicel, who was also present at the video shoot, said: "I feel confident because of two reasons. One, we have one of the best directors and two, because of the concept of the video."

She continued: "With Cameal there is a lot of confidence. She is a true professional and she is very humble and Jamaicans love that. The same attitude she had in, 'Rising Stars', is the same she has now."
