Two young men were gunned down in Bogue Village, St James on Thursday night.

They have been identified as 22-year-old Jermaine Clarke of Clipper Street, Bogue Village, and 19-year-old Bjourn Grant of Ironshore in the parish.

Reports are that about 10:10 pm, Clarke drove up to his gate in his motor car with Grant and another passenger aboard. One occupant of the vehicle went to open the gate when a motor car with two armed men drove up.

The men alighted, pulled guns and opened fire, hitting Clarke and Grant, who were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The other person escaped unharmed.

The police have not yet established a motive.
