Four men were shot, two fatally, by unknown assailants in Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11, this afternoon.

Dead are 21-year-old Sheldon 'Chiggy' Grandison and Corniel Gilroy, 28, both of Phase 2, Seaview Gardens.

Reports received by the CCN are that about 3:30 p.m., the men were among a group in an abandoned building in an area known as 'Nitty Gritty' when they were pounced upon by men armed with guns. The hoodlums opened fire hitting the four; two died on the spot. The other two were taken to hospital where they were admitted in stable condition. The police were summoned and the crime scene processed.

Police have not yet ascertained the identities of the men and no motive for the killings has been established at the moment.

The Seaview Gardens police are investigating.
