Jamie Lue murder case starts July 20

The trial of the four men charged with the murder of 28-year-old financial analyst Jamie Lue has been set for July 20.

The trial date was set yesterday when labourers André West, Dwayne Owen, Lynford Allen and Ryan Wilson, who are charged with the murder, appeared in the Home Circuit Court.

The men are in custody awaiting their trial.

It is being alleged that the accused abducted Lue in 2005 and took him to the the Grants Pen area of St Andrew.

They forced him to give them the pin numbers for his debit cards. Withdrawals were made from automated machines at several banks.

Lue was then shot dead.
