Rosemount advance in St Catherine

Rosemount are the latest team to qualify for the knockout stages of the INSPORTS/SDC St Catherine Community Football League after blanking Cheesefield 2-0 at Rosemount yesterday.

The win took Rosemount to the top of Zone Four on 15 points, six more than Bog Walk, who claimed the runner-up spot on goal difference, ahead of Cheesefield.

Angels/Brunswick advance to the quarter-finals from Zone Two after being awarded full points and a 3-0 margin of victory following McKoy/Wynter Pen's no-show at Ebony Vale.

Naseberry and Johnson Pen are fighting for second spot in the zone after Johnson Pen dispatched Gordon Pen 3-0 and Naseberry clipped Irish Pen 1-0.

It is still unclear who will join Central Village out of Zone One after Jones Pen edged Dela Vega 2-1 before Homestead whipped March Pen 3-0 during a double-header at Homestead.

In Zone Three, the rescheduled game between Windsor Road and Morgan's Lane is slated for tomorrow at Windsor Road. Windsor Road are in a position to go through with the already qualified Morgan's Lane, but defeat would see Old Harbour claiming second place.
