Mr Nuts, the brother-in-law of veteran deejay King Yellow Man, says he hopes his music career will reach new heights with the release of his latest single Black Angel. Mr Nuts, born Roderick Smith, recorded his first song, Operation, at Channel One Studio, and he says, music has always been his source of energy. "Music has always been my inspiration. From ever since me did young, me always a fool around music," said Mr Nuts. And although he hasn't had a close relationship with Yellow Man, the singer, who has also recorded songs like Kids In The Ghetto and I Remember at his home-based (Reggae Music Label) studio, believes the experience brought him enough inspiration to continue doing music. "Being around Yellow Man is something wonderful. He was the best at what he did and I hope to get that same kind of recognition when I have finished my career," he said. Nuts has performed in places like Grand Cayman and New Jersey and is currently working on making his name big in the music business. "Me just a continue push my music to the fullest. I have some new material coming up and I should get my work permit soon. The love what I have for music is too much for me to just stop like that," he said.
