Contemplating marrying my girlfriend |

Dear Pastor, I always read your columns and I want to thank you for helping people who need the advice. I am now seeking your advice. I am 21 years of age. I grew up in Jamaica until my migration to Canada with my father. I am in a relationship with a girl I really love and I think she really loves me too. I have been away for four years but I talk to her everyday. Since then, I went back to Jamaica two times and stayed with her at her house with her mother, sister and brother. Everything always seems great when we are together. I am thinking of going back to Jamaica and marrying her because she has given me every reason to do so. I love her completely and I believe she loves me just the same. She is one year older than I am. She is good with my family. My dad goes back and forth to Jamaica and she spends time with him while he is there. My entire family knows and loves her. I am certain that I want to go back to Jamaica and marry her, so eventually she can come to Canada and live here with me. I want a future with her. I would like your advice. What do you think I should do as I am confused. N.L., Canada Dear N.L., I am glad that you have found a very good woman. You are very fortunate. My prayers are with both of you. I hope that you will not only love her but respect and cherish her. May this lady honour you as her husband. Pastor |
