I am a 15-year-old girl living in Canada. I have recently started a relationship. We have been fooling around and, sad to say, I am pregnant. I am so scared for my life because my mother and father are both very strict. What should I do?

Dear M.A.,

Your parents might be strict but you were not thinking about them when you had unprotected sex. Please tell your parents immediately that you are pregnant. The young man who got you pregnant should be arrested and charged, but that's another matter. Please don't let anybody encourage you to do a back-door abortion.

If you can't tell your parents face to face, write them a letter.
