Star Tell Me Pastor

Arguments and a burning ring finger

Dear Pastor,

I am a 27-year-old married woman. My husband loves me, I know, but every day we argue. I don't know what to do. The other day I packed my bags to leave him and just as I was about to go, my ring finger started to burn me.

Please tell me what to do as I am confused.

P.B., Clarendon, Jamaica

Dear P.B.,

You must be joking about the finger. Why should your finger burn you if you decided to leave your husband? If you are not joking, you must be very superstitious. If you and your husband are always arguing, both of you need to seek the help of a family counsellor.

I am glad you love your husband very much. Couples must have disagreements, it is healthy. But they should always respect the opinion of the other. You can argue, but you shouldn't curse each other. I repeat, seek the help of a family counsellor. And please take care of the finger that was burning you.

Pastor
