"The response from the patrons has been great. The support has been great, and it grows each week. It was intended to be a four-week long event, but we just might extend it," said the promoter of Sawt Out Satdays (SOS), Omarie Case. In its third week running, the new craze on the party scene, Bejon's Sport Bar, at 111B Molynes Road, has become the host for the Nescafé-sponsored, Sawt Out Satdays (SOS). Inside the venue, the early birds played pool upstairs while downstairs, persons got body art from Eon and Robby. After musical selector, Scientist spun some hot mixes to build an early vibe, Wahwa from Darkcide took over on the turntables after 2 a.m., and reached for his 'Gaza bag', as he played a host of Kartel songs - the ravers responding on the dancefloor. As the DJ spoke a few words to introduce the next song, lighters, hands and voices were raised to Kartel's Send Fi Mi Army and Nuh Throw Wud. TNG took over with a dance segment and the now-packed dancefloor was buzzing with activity and the hottest dances were on display. the professionals
Soon the dance floor was cleared and the professionals took over, as Dance Expressionz took over and they were soon joined by the Exposé Models, painted with the name of the sponsors for the event. Things then slowed as Jah Vinci's Watch Yuh Friends sounded a warning and Chino reminded that he was Protected. The buzz that SOS has created lived up to expectations, and if the promoters have their way, this event will indeed go on for longer than originally scheduled.
