Fourth win for Watson Grove |

Watson Grove surged to the top of the standings in the Senator Arthur Williams-sponsored Portmore Under-15 Football League after winning 2-0 over Westport last Sunday at the Watson Grove playing field, to record their fourth win in as many matches. Watson Grove lead with 12 points and are chased by second on points Wanderers (nine), Cumberland (nine) and also Rodwood on nine points. In the key match of the day, Wanderers clipped Cumberland 1-0 at the Cumberland playing field, while Rodwood stayed unbeaten with a 1-0 win over Daytona. Christian Pen moved to fifth position and seven points from four games, thumping Hellshire United 4-0, Passagefort United registered their second win in four contests edging Braeton United 3-2. Matches on tomorrow: at Passagefort playing field - Braeton United vs Westport at 1:30 p.m., Rodwood vs Passagefort United at 3:30 p.m.; at Cumberland playing field - Portmore Pines vs Daytona at 1:30 p.m., Cumberland vs Christian Pen at 3:30 p.m.; at Hellshire playing field - Watson Grove vs Hellshire United at 3 p.m. |
