Supreme Court employees get bail |

Lorie-ann Williams and Hugh Forbes accused of collecting money for the sale of court documents each received $200,000 bail in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court Wednesday. Both were charged for breaches of the Corruption Prevention Act. They are to surrender their travel documents. Allegations are that Williams and Forbes, both Supreme Court employees, were involved in a scam that allowed people to get a speedy divorce. They allegedly produced divorce papers for their customers at the cost of $20,000. The police have been probing reports of fraud at the court for over a year. Both were arrested and charged last week and should return to court on July 29. |
