MA special constable charged with three counts of motor manslaughter arising from a two-car collision along the Wilton main road in St Elizabeth last January was offered $500,000 bail in the Santa Cruz RM court on Tuesday. Sheldon Brown of Four Paths, Clarendon, was told by Resident Magistrate Sharon Barrett to report to the Chapelton police on Wednesdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. He returns to court on July 17. Allegations are that about 6 p.m. on January 8, Brown, a member of the Island Special Constabulary Force (ISCF), was driving a white Toyota Corolla motor car towards Mandeville when the vehicle crashed into a Nissan motor car travelling in the opposite direction. Three people died in the accident. These include his colleague Craig Bailey who was sitting in the front of the car he was driving and Roslyn Graham and Erick Lewis, who were in the other vehicle. |
