Milo commits to Portmore cricket

Milo has once again confirmed its commitment to Portmore cricket, after pumping $125,000 into a cricket clinic for Under-15 players entering this year's Portmore Metropolitan Cricket League. The clinic is set for this weekend.

This figure is separate from the $400,000 Milo will be spending on the league which starts on Sunday, June 21.

The announcement was made by Kenneth Dodd, Nestles Jamaica Limited's Team Leader, generating marketing at a press conference at the Courtleigh Hotel in New Kingston on Thursday.

The clinic is slated for Ken's Wildflower sports ground and will be coordinated by former West Indies captain, Jimmy Adams, technical director of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA).

Adams will have at his disposal, former West Indies opener, Robert Samuels, as coach. Renford Pinnock and Hugh Hinds will offer assistance.

More than 100 kids in the municipality of Portmore are expected to participate in the clinic.
