Fire of unknown origin destroyed a three-bedroom dwelling house at Bellfield, Browns Hall, St Catherine, yesterday. No one was injured in the incident.

Reports received by the Constabulary Communication Network are that about 4:15 p.m., neighbours saw the house on fire and raised an alarm. The fire brigade and police were summoned. One unit from the Old Harbour Fire Department carried out cooling-down operations.

Estimates of loss have not yet been ascertained. The building was not insured.

The Browns Hall Police are investigating.
