Young Romain Virgo will be appearing at this year's staging of the Reggae Sumfest festival in Montego Bay and he can't wait to show what he's made of.

Though Virgo appeared at Sumfest's beach party last year and was also on the Digicel small stage, this will be his first time gracing the main stage alongside acts like Toni Braxton, Spice, KipRich, Jah Cure and Bounty Killer.

"I feel so good knowing that I've made it to this point. I'm trying not to be nervous about it, but it's a real dream come true because it's still so early in my career. But I'm trying to get my set planned and give people a great performance," he said.

Virgo was the 2007 Rising Stars competition winner and already, the 19-year-old has made a significant mark on the entertainment scene with each of his releases catapulting to the top spot on local and international music charts.

Currently, both Cyaan Sleep and Wanna Go Homeare featuredon charts, including the Virgin Islands' WSTX 100.3 FM, Chris Coxson's Reggae Chart On New Style Radio 98.7 FM, Digicel's Caribbean Hot 30, World Reggae Beat on BBC's Three Counties Radio and more.
