A 30-year-old man was chopped to death by another at North Avenue, Greenwich Town, Kingston 13 on Wednesday. His alleged attacker is being sought by the police.

Dead is Nicholas Powell, otherwise called 'Bruce', of North Avenue.

Reports received by the Constabulary Communications Network are that about 10:30 a.m. Powell and another man had an argument. A struggle ensued and a chopper was used to chop Powell in the abdomen. He ran and collapsed a short distance before being taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
