Pining for lover |

Dear Pastor, I sincerely need your advice. My girlfriend and I broke up and now she is with another man who doesn't need her as much as I do. I love her with all my heart and I really want her back in my life. We had sex and I took her virginity but we are still in school. When I am at school, she looks at me and smiles. At other times, she walks past me. I know she loves me and she knows I love her. As I said earlier, I really want her back in my life. Please, help me with this issue. I can't stop loving and thinking about her. I need your prayer and advice. AL, St Catherine, Jamaica Dear AL, I can assure you I will pray for you but my prayers will not be that this girl and you get back together. Both of you were intimate friends and she has chosen to end the relationship with you. Perhaps she has very good reason for doing so. She sees you in class and sometimes she smiles with you. She holds no animosity in her heart for you but she has not indicated she wants you back in her life. So, my dear young man, leave this young woman alone. You said her present boyfriend doesn't need her as much as you do. I don't know what you mean by that. Whatever you mean, do nothing to cause this girl to hate you or report you to the police. You will get another girlfriend but, in the meantime, concentrate on your schoolwork. Pastor |
