Dear Pastor, I am a 23-year-old young woman, who is thirsty for your words of advice. I'm from Jamaica but emigrated about three years now. I left my babyfather in Jamaica, but I met another man about two years now. We were friends, and then we became secret lovers to the public. This guy is living with his babymother, but we're in love. I no longer have feelings for my babyfather. is mine My heart tells me that this guy that I am now seeing is mine. He is the one. I don't want anyone to be a victim in this situation but I want this man for myself. I've been praying to God to let His will be done. But, I'm concerned as to whether I am doing the right thing. Am I? Please advise me. S., Florida, United States Dear S., The young man in Jamaica hasn't done you any wrong. But you feel that you have a need for male companionship. Please bear in mind that there may come a time when the young man who is living in America and you may have a disagreement. He may tell you that he does not trust you because you were not true to your boyfriend who is in Jamaica. Therefore, he believes that there is a possibility that you may cheat on him because you cheated on your man in Jamaica. So, I would say to you be very careful what you do. Do not give the young man in Jamaica the impression that all is well between both of you. If you have made up your mind to leave him, inform him and do so early. Pastor |
