A 34-year-old man was killed and another injured in a car crash at Trafalgar Road, Kingston 10, yesterday.

Dead is Kevin Beckford of Johnson Avenue, while injured is Ricardo Dawson, 24, of Rollington Town, both in Kingston 2.

Reports are that about 12:40 a.m., Dawson was driving a Toyota Mark II motor car along Trafalgar Road with Beckford aboard, heading to Lady Musgrave Road.

On reaching a section of the roadway, the vehicle careened into the dual carriageway and crashed into a concrete utility pole. Beckford had to be cut from the vehicle which was extensively damaged.

Both men sustained multiple injuries and were taken to the University Hospital where Beckford was pronounced dead and Dawson admitted in serious condition.
