There are times when a promoter as well as patrons get the best out of an event when it is not packed. This was the case at Tease on Sunday. The vibe never started until minutes after 9 p.m., but when it did, it went up, and never came down. Patrons formed a huge ring around the dancefloor, leaving the middle empty, as the 'wheels of steel' were controlled with the likes of Johnny Kool, DJ Ice and Jazzy T, creating the perfect combination. loosen up The introduction of a 'Gaza segment' that paved the way to the 'Gully side', also encouraged patrons to loosen up, and they eventually gravitated to the centre of the dancefloor at Kabana, making full use of the spacious venue. Erup's Way We Roll, had some persons feeling So Special, Michael Jackson, asked them both to Beat It as it was his time to be in the spotlight. With the women dressed to impress, in short skirts, shorts and bust-revealing tops, the cameras constantly flickered as the cameramen were kept busy as the females were quite a 'Tease'. DJ Liquid delivered a tantalising set, which started off with some Hip Hop songs and developed into the must-have 'daggering segment'. While he went to cool his fingertips, Bloodline took charge. And all got lost in the party atmosphere, the tipsy, the not so tipsy and even the sober. To the delight of those patrons who arrived late, the event went beyond its scheduled lock-off time, which gave them more time to express themselves and show how flexible they were on the dancefloor. 'Tease', while not having the largest turnout, which could be seen as a blessing in disguise, was mad fun, and most, if not all patrons left feeling satisfied.
