Reggae Artist Sugar Bear and his family are grieving the death of his grandmother, Edna Preddy, affectionately known as Aunt Din.

Aunt Din is the mother of Sugar Bear's mother, Joy. She resided in the Marlie Hill community located in south Manchester.

She was loved by many generations and cared for many people throughout her 96 years.

Sugar Bear says that she personified love and strength. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, in Manchester.
