Montego Bay crime fighters are now sifting for clues to aid them in solving the gun murder of a man and the shooting injury of an 11-year-old youth at New Ramble district, Bogue Hill, St James, on Saturday night.

Dead is 23-year-old Sheldon Jacdath of Scarlett Road in the parish; the injured boy is of New Ramble district.

Police told THE STAR that about 8:30 p.m., Jacdath was sitting at a shop in the community when he was approached by two men armed with guns. The men immediately opened gunfire hitting him before escaping in the area. The youth who was in nearby was discovered with gunshot wounds.

They were both taken to hospital where Sinclair was pronounced dead and the youth admitted in stable condition. Investigation continues.
