Star Tell Me Pastor

The letter I sent on behalf of my brother
Dear Pastor,

Good day to you. I recently wrote to you, on behalf of my brother, about this girl he's with. How I got involved was by calling my brother one day and, as he got on the phone, I knew something was wrong. So I asked him if he was ok and he said he was good. I knew he was lying and I let him know that I knew something was wrong. My brother is usually a very happy person. He will sound happy over the phone and, in person, he is just the same. He then began telling me about the girl whom he is with and how she treats him. He told me all that he did for her and what she has done to him.

I suggested that he should write to you, but I ended up writing the letter for him. I know that he just needs your advice. We both know that you are always giving good advice to people struggling through their problems. The problem was that he had wanted me to request a personal reply from you but I forgot to put that in the letter. When he first read it in the paper, he was upset, but now, he is quite happy I didn't. He read what you wrote and it has opened his eyes. But, now the girl is mad because she thinks it's my brother who wrote to you.

My mother sends greetings. She has been a Christian for 35 years now and she still loves it. We love you, Pastor. Keep up the good work. Please pray for my brother that God will reward him for his good deeds and kindness.

K.C., St Ann, Jamaica

Dear K.C.,

I do not know which letter you are referring to. However, I am glad that whatever I said helped your brother. I wish him well.

Give your mother a hug on my behalf.

Pastor
