Promoter Darren Virtue has once again struck gold with Wet Sundaze.

Held at the Eclipse Sports Bar, 8 Hill View Avenue, Wet Sundaze offers the partying public good, clean fun to kick-start the week.

Loyal supporters of the Virtue Brand roll out week after week for the early event which usually runs from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., but has been extended until 2 a.m. following numerous requests.

The STAR team, while on location, observed some big names from the entertainment fraternity rolling in with their crews, namely Bounty Killer, Beres Hammond, Elephant Man and Mr Vegas.

On a warm Sunday night, Xclamation Sound held down the early vibes, as they had the females walking out to Fantasia's When I See You, while under Jennifer Hudson's Spotlight.

While patrons rocked to the beats, the bar crew had their hands full as the Magnum went by the buckets, after all it was a Magnum-sponsored event. The 'high rollers' had bottles of Hennessey at their feet, popping the cap occasionally to refill their mixes.

Wet Sundaze captures a very diverse crowd in an immaculate setting, a clean, secure environment bringing out persons from all walks of life to share in a few hours of great music.

Having been out of the public eye for a while, Selector Foota Hype took over selecting duties and was in top shape as he connected well with the crowd, dropping hot tracks that had patrons moving, occasionally 'bigging up the Alliance'.

The venue became a choir as in unison, they sang along word for word, Wasps' Unfair Officer, which has gained tremendous popularity and has become a party banger before informing the patrons that Tami Chynn and Wayne Marshall had officially tied the knot.

The Energy God was on hand to endorse the event, as he hangs with a friend.

With a 'dub', DJ Liquid signalled his arrival at the controls, as he sought to end the event on a high, ensuring that those who came, left feeling pleased.

The summer is over, but the summer anthem continues to rule, and the dancers especially, welcomed Ding Dong's Holiday, as they all did the 'summer swing' and the expressions on the faces of the people told the story of how they felt.

The response was the same for Kartel and Stephen McGregor's Careful as well as Chino's Never Change.

Magnum Wet Sundaze should definitely be marked on the calendar of must-go events. Those who can't make it, don't feel too left out, as live streaming of the event is provided on Reggae Music FM.com.

Virtue, while not surprised by the turn out he has been getting since the event started back in March, was however grateful for the support that he has been getting for his events.

"The people make your event what it is, and I aim to provide just what they want, good, clean fun, and that is what they have been getting. A hearty thank you to all my supporters and my sponsors," said Virtue.
