Inspired by her many life challenges, a smiling Joan Wright launched her book From Brokenness To Victory, last night at the Courtleigh Hotel, in New Kingston.

She stands today a very proud woman - one who has overcome obstacles that life has thrown at her.

And with the book, which took her precisely one month to complete, she has high hopes that her readers will find it as a source of inspiration as they go through their different struggles.

"I'm celebrating tonight that I am now victorious. I'm moving pass my past and now it's about celebrating life," she said.

The book, which not only illustrates hard work and determination, gives an insight of what power, love, hope and forgiveness can do in one's life.

The book (From Brokenness To Victory), is available in stores and can be sourced at Bryan's Bookstore, Kingston Bookshop, Pentab Bookstore, Source of Light Bookstore, Judian's Boutique, Oakland Barbers and Rizpah Fashions.

The businesswoman, who hails from Franklin Town, in Kingston, believes her 10-chapter book will be a success as the issues revealed are coming from a real-life experience.

"It took like a month for me to finish. I had everything boiled up inside and just decided to let it go. The only obstacle I had was the people's perception. But, I believe it will be a success," she added.

Former Digicel Rising Stars winner Cameal Davis and gospel artiste Ryan Mark provided the evening's entertainment. The book launch was hosted by KiKi and attended by friends, family and well-wishers, among them, Richard Patterson, son of former Prime Minster of Jamaica, P.J. Patterson.
