Deon Burton - file LONDON, England, (CMC): Reggae Boy Deon Burton scored his sixth goal of the season for Charlton Athletic but veteran Irish international Graham Kavanagh struck twice to fire Carlisle United to an emphatic 3-1 victory in English League One action Saturday. Burton, who celebrated his 33rd birthday last Sunday, scored from the spot on the brink of half-time to draw his side level after they had fallen behind to Ian Harte's strike four minutes earlier at Brunton Park. The 1998 World Cup star was bundled to the ground on the edge of the box and stepped up to calmly bury the resulting penalty, beating goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley to his left. Any thoughts the visitors had of taking full points were scuppered, however, when Kavanagh produced long-ranged volleys in the 63rd and 83rd minutes, to hand Carlisle a comfortable win. At the Stadium of Light in England's northeast, Trinidadian striker Kenwyne Jones made headlines for all the wrong reasons when he was sent off in Sunderland's 2-2 draw with West Ham in the Premiership.
