No leads in 20-y-o murder case |

The St Catherine South police have not been able to make a breakthrough with their investigations into the killing of a 20-year-old man at Allamby Crescent, Cumberland, Portmore, on Tuesday night. The dead man has been identified as Juvann Livingston of Allamby Crescent. Information reaching THE PORTMORE STAR is that about 7:20 p.m., Livingston was riding his bicycle along the roadway when he was pounced upon by two men armed with guns. Police say he tried to escape but was chased by his attackers and shot. He was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he later died while being treated, police reported. The St Catherine South Homicide Unit, which is conducting investigations into the shooting death, say no motive has been established for the killing, nor have any suspect(s) been identified. |
