The lead story in Monday's STAR is quite a shocker.

The story was about a five-month-old baby who got caught in the middle of a love triangle, including his parents and another woman.

According to the article, the baby's mother was attacked by another woman, who also has a baby for the father. During an argument, it was alleged that the 'woman on the side' grabbed the baby from the man's wife, threw him on to the ground and then kicked him.

It is a sad day when innocent babies are being attacked and abused because of the affairs of their parents. If the allegations are true, the attacker deserves to be punished and to the full extent of the law.

A person that can inflict such injuries on a child is obviously a heartless person, and one who should receive some strong intervention. No normal person would seek to inflict such injuries on a child, especially an innocent five-month-old baby.

The story revealed that the matter was to be brought before the court soon. We sincerely hope that it is dealt with fairly and that justice will prevail in the end for the innocent victim.
