The combination of Christopher Brown, aka 'Reggae Chris Brown', and Christopher Burrell, aka 'MC Nail', has been working just right over the years, and so the duo has no plans of changing.

''This is not a young group, as we even scored a number one hit in 1993 and continue to grow musically although we have migrated," Reggae Chris Brown said.

The duo told THE STAR they are currently working on new material and still doing a number of shows to keep their flow as current as possible.

''We have just done the video for our current single name Do Better, and it is what we are concentrating on right now. We are working with Craig Kirkland on the Great Amazement Production, with whom we have done a video, and we are confident that the business still has space for us," MC Nail remarked.

Brown, who is from Gordon Pen in St Catherine, met Burrell while he was doing producing, and the rest is history.

"When we met I saw this young man and was told that he was a good performer, so we did a song titled Fire Fire on the Tuff Gong label. This went number one on all the local charts," he said.

It was after that they migrated, but continued to perform on a number of shows locally.

Burrell, who hails from Gregory Park in Portmore, is still part of the the Gregory Park dancers, and has won numerous accolades in competitions.

Brown has won for himself a number of awards in festivals, and knew from early that music would always be part of his destiny.

They have performed on a number of events locally and abroad and promised to continue to build on their musical contribution.
