I can't get what is my own |

Dear Pastor, I bought a piece of land in Jamaica from a man but now his children do not want to sign the papers for me to access the land. The man is still alive but he is so ill that his children took over from him in 1985. He is bedridden and cannot walk at all. I bought the land from him, but I live in Canada. I do not know what to do now. Please, I need your advice. P.S., Canada Dear P.S., You need to retain a lawyer. Although you are living in Canada, an attorney-at-law in Jamaica can assist you in dealing with this matter. I am sorry to know that the owner of the land is ill, but if there is no question as to the validity of the sale, you need not worry. It may take some time, but everything will be okay. I suggest that you ask a family member or friend to speak to a lawyer on your behalf and then you can also communicate with him or her. Pastor |
