Inspectorate gets new toll-free line

The Inspectorate of the Jamaica Constabulary Force now has its own toll-free line.

The line, 1-888-429-5523, was installed last weekend to allow citizens who have been turned away or have other problems at police stations to call and make their complaints.

Police are reminding citizens that reports on any incident or issue can be made at any police station in Jamaica no matter where the incident took place. No citizen should be re-directed to another police station or office.

Citizens making reports at any police station must receive a receipt from the police personnel taking the report. This is a requirement and must be done by all personnel.

Anyone who has problems can write or call in their complaints. The address to write is Inspectorate of the Constabulary, 5th Floor, NCB South Tower, 2 Oxford Road, Kingston 5.
