New kid in the music business Kemar Gordon who goes by the stage name "Alandho'' sees himself as the next big name in reggae music within the next five years. "With the material that I now have, music is well on the way for a revolution, and until my artistic value is truly realised, I will stop at nothing,'' Gordon told The Star. The 26-year-old St Catherine native said, that to date, he has done several recordings with Bloozic Productions Gordon said that he is privileged to have the natural talent to sing for persons and make them happy and also able to make a living. His current single Come Down Father, is getting good rotation. He said this has been helping his career because he has got several gigs on talent and community shows. He said life has not always been easy, but he has managed to triumph, despite the difficulties in earning academic qualifications in the process. ''When I left Dinthill Technical High School, it was very difficult for me financially. However, while not graduating, I went to Lluidas Vale HEART Academy and received a diploma in mechanical engineering," Gordon continued. He said he went to live with his aunt in Kingston and he would follow her to church. He said he eventually got baptised and joined the choir and sang for the lord. It was from there that his talent blossomed. The man who lives by the motto 'never give up', said his great desire for music saw him recording many songs which would soon be released". He is confident about succeeding because he knows that he is blessed with the talent to sing.
