Up to late last night, police were still searching for the killers of the manager of the Claro store who was shot by gunmen late yesterday afternoon.

Craid Dennis, the manager of the store located in the Jencare Plaza, Seaward Drive, Kingston 20, was shot dead by one of two gunmen who barged into the store and robbed him of his chain and necklace.

Dennis, 35, is from Palmoral Avenue, Kingston 6.

Reports are that about 4:40 p.m., Dennis was at the outlet when two men with guns entered and demanded his necklace and bracelet. He complied but pulled his licensed firearm and challenged the men.

In the ensuing shoot-out, Dennis was hit and the men escaped in a silver motor car.

It is not known if any of the men were hit. Dennis' firearm was handed over to the police. Last night, police said they had still not established a motive for the killing, nor had they identified any suspects.
