Missing woman's body found in Kingston Harbour

The body of a woman, who was reported missing was found floating in the Kingston Harbour on Tuesday afternoon.

It has been identified as that of 37-year-old dressmaker Beverley Hemans of Blue Hole district, Red Hills, St Andrew.

The Constabulary Communication Network is reporting that about 1:00 p.m., citizens saw the body in the water and summoned the police. Officers from the Marine Division assisted in its removal to shore, where it was examined and found to have no marks of violence. The body was then taken to the morgue for a post-mortem.

Hemans was last seen alive about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday and was reported missing a few hours later.
