Cops seek Cadene Johnson The Whithorn Police in Westmoreland are seeking the assistance of the public in locating Cadene Johnson, whose last known address was Mango Hall, Little London, in the parish. She is needed as a witness in a case before the court. Johnson is of brown complexion, slim build and about 163 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) tall. She is scheduled to appear in the Westmoreland Circuit Court on Friday, January 29. Johnson or anyone knowing her whereabouts is being asked to contact the Whithorn police at 957-7713 or the nearest police station. Noel Davis missing Noel Anthoney Davis, 35, otherwise called, 'Junior' and 'Indian' of Stanton Housing Scheme, St Thomas, has been reported missing since Wednesday, January 14. He is of dark complexion, slim build and about 154 centimetres (5ft) tall with a scar to his nose. Police are reporting that about 3:30 p.m., Davis, who was visiting his mother at Nutts River district in the parish, left for home and has not been seen or heard from since. Efforts by his relatives to contact him have proven futile. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is being asked to contact the Morant Bay Police at 982-2233, police 119 emergency numbers or the nearest police station. Man shot dead Winston Wright, 44, of Swan Lane, Kingston 16, was shot dead by a gunman on Omara Road, Kingston 13, yesterday. Police said about 11 a.m., Wright was driving his motor car on Omara Crescent when another motor car with three men aboard blocked his path. One man alighted from the vehicle, chased and shot him multiple times. He died at the Kingston Public Hospital. MotorcyClist dies in crash Motorcyclist Hulio Grant, 24, of Molynes Road, Kingston 10, died after sustaining injuries in a crash along Washington Boulevard, Kingston 20, Sunday. Police said about Grant was signalled to stop by police but while trying to escape, collided into a Jamaica Defence Force pickup and was thrown from the motorcycle. He died at the Kingston Public Hospital. |
