'DigiUltraLove Quote' winner gets VIP treatment |

Chateaux Vino's waiter, Ian Green, serves a special Valentine made for Digicel Facebook fan and 'DigiUltraLove Quote' winner, Kurt Sutherland and his girlfriend, Jody Senior. - Contributed Kurt Sutherland, Digicel customer and Facebook fan, received VIP treatment on Valentine's Day as he was fêted to romantic dinner for two at Chateaux Vino in Kingston, after winning the 'DigiUltraLove Quote' competition on Digicel's Facebook page. Sutherland came out on top with a 56 per cent vote from among hundreds of fans, who participated in the week-long online Valentine's competition, with his love quote by Franklin P. Jones, "Love doesn't make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile". perfect Valentine's date Paparazzi, exotic food and white wine, were the order of the evening for the young couple as they dined at Chateaux Vino on Valentine's' Day. "I wanted the perfect Valentine's date for my girlfriend and Digicel gave us just that. The many hours of online campaigning that I had to do were well worth it," said an elated Sutherland. Corporate Affairs Manager at Digicel, Jacqueline Burrell-Clarke, said she was excited about the company's social networking media initiative. "The daily interaction with our customers on Facebook and Twitter has been great. In just one week, our fan base grew by over 2,000 fans," she said. Burrell-Clarke revealed that with more than 24,000 fans now on its Facebook page, social media provides Digicel with an opportunity to not only 'personalise' the Digicel brand online, but also to grow the company's Facebook fan base to be Jamaica's biggest online family. In the 'DigiUltraLove Quote' Valentine's competition, the first five fans to submit their favourite love quotes by 10 a.m., were entered into a daily poll. The winner for each day was then entered into a grand poll at the end of the week for a chance to win a dinner for two on Valentine's Day.
