AKA: Allostar Hometown: Ebony Vale, St Catherine Song: Take You Out Tonight Allostar has been singing for more than 17 years - since his church days at the United Pentecostal Tabernacle on Wildman Street. He has a singing heritage as most of his uncles are gospel singers. Allostar says reggae is his calling and he wants to initiate change in the way the country is going, and contribute to the building of a better society. "Most of our young people have nowhere to turn. We have very few opportunities, that's why we turn to music," he says. He would like to see his talent recognised all over the world, and is encouraged by the sentiments of people from his community who want to see him succeed.
