Detectives seek assistance to identify man

Detectives at the Major Investigations Taskforce are seeking the relatives or anyone who is able to identify a man who was found murdered on Lexington Avenue, Vineyard Town, Kingston 3, on Tuesday, February 16.

The dead man appeared to have been mid-to-late 20s, of dark complexion, slim build and about 177 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) long. The body has a tattoo on one of the shoulders and was clad in dark-coloured pants, blue T-shirt and grey Adidas sneakers.

The CCN reported that about 10:25 p.m. lawmen were summoned to Lexington Avenue where it was reported that the body of a man was seen in the community. On their arrival, they inspected the body and found that it had several gunshot wounds. The body was subsequently removed to the morgue.

Anyone who can identify this body is being asked to contact 922-5344, police 119 emergency numbers or the nearest police station.
