Guidance returns with 'No Other Alternative'

It was in 2005 that reggae singer Donovan Walker aka Guidance came to national attention with a popular single titled Love What You Got on the Brown Brothers Record label. The song's catchy punch line which warned "love what yuh have cause next year nah go easy", seem prophetic, considering the hard times our nation is now facing.

Since then the Portmore-based artiste has recorded numerous singles such as These People Too Bad Fi Mi, Babylon Planning Again, Lonely, Leave Her Alone, I Had A Dream and Wonderful World But Some Terrible People.

He has also performed on major events such as Reggae Sumfest, Sting, Follow The Arrow, Rebel Salute, the annual Stone Love Anniversary Show and Spring Break in Negril. Guidance has also performed on several events in the USA.

Although Guidance has been consistently recording since he scored his big hit in 2005, it has been a long time since he has experienced the kind of success that Love What You Got gave him.

However, he seems poised for similar success once again as his latest single titled With No Other Alternative which is on the Brown Brothers Record label, has been receiving heavy rotation both locally and abroad. Since its release in January, With No Other Alternative has become a favourite of famed IRIE FM radio personality Elise Kelly, who has stated several times on her popular 'Easy Skanking' show that it's now time for Guidance to get his long awaited big break.
