Dear Pastor,
I am a regular listener to your show and wish to congratulate you on your valued work and wish you success with your professional and personal endeavours. I just wanted to draw your attention to an item of news that was featured prominently in the news over here in the United Kingdom this week. It relates to your topic: property and their car According to reports in the media, a couple who recently celebrated a £56-million lottery decided to give their £400,000 property and their car to their housekeeper this week after they purchased a £4 million property for themselves. What greater display of gratitude and appreciation could a housekeeper or any employee ask for? There is more to the story but I just briefly wanted to say that it was such a wonderful and thoughtful way for them to have allowed someone else to share and benefit from their blessings. All the best to you and your staff. D.B., UK Dear D.B., What a blessing! This is proof that there are people who care about their workers. While some employers treat their helpers badly, others hold them in high esteem. Housekeepers should be treated well. This couple showed their gratitude to this loyal and faithful household helper by giving her their property. Pastor |
