JCF makes public appeal to former commandant

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is making a public appeal for Harold Crooks, former commandant of the Island Special Constabulary Force, to report to the police immediately.

In a release issued by its Director of Communications, Karl Angell, the JCF said the police are interested in interviewing Crooks as part of an ongoing investigation. The release also revealed that arrangements were made last week for Crooks and his attorney to meet with the police, but this meeting did not happen. The release said Crooks failed to show up.

Subsequent efforts by the police to locate him, including many visits to his house, have proven futile.
