![]() Beenie Man A high energy performance by the King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man will be the added feature to this Sunday's staging of Red Stripe BOLD Socamaloo at the Keycard Beach Village, New Kingston. From the selectors of Renaissance disco, DJ Kurt Riley and other guest DJ's, each has brought something special to the table. Sunday April 12th is set to be even more exciting coinciding with Bacchanal Jamaica's road parade. Many revellers will no doubt choose Socamaloo as their after road march lyming spot. a special element According to Safia Cooper, brand manager for Red Stripe Bold, a lot of thought has gone into the concept and particularly this week. "Being road march Sunday, we have added a special element that we are certain will entice revellers to be a part of. After partying on the road all day what better way to maintain that party vibe than at Socamaloo, where the energy will be high," Cooper said. "We have brought the beach to the city, not only sand, palm trees and beach umbrellas, but even an endless offering of oysters," she added. Beenie Man has promised his round of hits, but will also be adding a few surprises as well. "I am known for bringing the energy to any performance, but this one will be different. For Socamaloo, I will be mixing it up a bit to please all the partygoers, a fusion of genres is what I have planned," Beenie Man said. "I will be incorporating everything in this performance. Many of the persons in the crowd will just be coming off the road march and I want to keep up to that pace. High energy, jumping beats, an intense vibe and loads of palancing, that's what's in store for Socamaloo this Sunday," he added. Red Stripe BOLD Socamaloo is a series of parties that will continue up to April 25th. Food will be available as well as a trampoline for those daring enough to try. |
