A man said to be a member of the One Order gang has turned himself in to the police. The Star was informed that the man, accompanied by a minister of religion, handed himself in to police on Saturday. He is Winston Anthony Sewell, otherwise called 'Swelly', of Thompson Pen, St Catherine. Police told The Star that the man was recently fingered as a 'person of interest' on Friday and was in custody one day later. He is said to be responsible for an area of Thompson Pen called the Old Road. Meanwhile, business people have expressed pleasure at the work of the security forces in the parish. "We are pleased with the work, however, there needs to do more than taking the dons in. There must be viable alternative," Dennis Robothom, president St Catherine Chamber Of Commerce said. |
