Man wanted for questioning captured |

|
A man wanted by the police for questioning in relation to a number of killings and shooting in Portmore, St Catherine, was arrested last Thursday afternoon. An officer attached to the St Catherine South division, told THE STAR that the man was captured during an operation which was conducted by the division's Operations Officer Deputy Superintendent Clive Blair and his team. Police reports indicated that between 4:30 and 5 p.m. on Thursday, the police team conducted the operation in the Naggo Head area when the man was held. The police indicated that they are conducting an ongoing drive to apprehend wanted men and will be focusing on the hot spots in the municipality. Up to late yesterday it was unclear whether the man had been charged. |
