Two killed, two injured in vehicular collision |

|
A motor vehicle collision along the Pomfret main road in Yallahs, St Thomas, about 1:15 p.m. on Monday, resulted in the death of two females and the injury of two men. The dead women have been identified as 64-year-old Angella Ricketts of Patrick Road, Mandeville, Manchester, and 85-year-old Carmeleta Chambers of West Palm Beach, Florida. According to reports, a Toyota Corona motor car was heading towards Morant Bay when it collided with a Toyota Premio motor car, travelling in the opposite direction, which was driven by Angella's husband. Mrs Ricketts and Chambers were passengers in the vehicle. multiple injuries All four sustained multiple injuries and were rushed to the Princess Margaret Hospital where the females died. The drivers were admitted to the Port Maria Hospital in serious condition. The Yallahs police are investigating. |
