Pray and let nature takes its course |

Dear Pastor,
I hope God continues to bless you as you do his precious work. I wrote to you before about being torn between my mother and my husband. Well, I took your advice and bought my own house. My husband is very happy and the relationship with my mother is great too. Now, my problem is, for the past three years we have been trying to have a child. I found out in June, at my OBGYN visit that I was pregnant. We were all very excited, but our joy soon came to an end. On our follow-up up visit, the OBGYN informed us that the baby had stopped growing and that he can't detect a heartbeat and must, therefore, perform an abortion. Oh, such pain we felt. second opinion My mom insisted that we get a second opinion. We went to the ER and they told us it's too early in the pregnancy to detect a heartbeat and that my HCG counts had dropped. My mom and husband are still hoping for the best. They both agreed that I should allow nature to take its course because an abortion will prevent me from having children in the future. Please Pastor, I am in need of your advice. Please pray for me. Thank you. T.M., Philadelphia, U.S.A. Dear T.M., I am happy that you were able to purchase your own home and that the relationship between your mother and yourself has improved. I can imagine how blessed your husband and yourself feel, now that you have your own home. Concerning your pregnancy, I can only encourage you to listen to your doctor and follow his/her advice. Your mother and others mean well but you should always listen and consider the advice of the professionals, especially when it has to do with pregnancy and your health. I wish you well and assure you of my prayers. Pastor |
