Elephant Man, Sharrie shoot video |

Rising young female artiste Sharrie recently shot the video for her debut single called Can You Manage, featuring 'energy god', Elephant Man. THE WEEKEND STAR caught up with the young artiste, who said that working with Elephant Man was fun. "Elephant Man full a vibes and I had a lot of fun doing the video." She also said she was grateful for the opportunity to do the combination with Elephant Man and that the single is destined for great things. The video was shot by Karl Durrant, of Global Video Concepts, at various locations in Kingston, namely The Big Ship Studio and Q 45. The plot sees Elephant Man making moves at the acrobatic female artiste while she plays hard to get, meanwhile mocking his ability to 'perform', hence the title Can You Manage. The song, which is produced by Marvin Williams from Voicefull Records, is already receiving airplay on radio and is being received fairly well by listeners. Sharrie says, "right now, mi just a try get more airplay so that the music can be recognized." The singjay, who hails from Red Hills Road, said she has been doing music for over four years and observed that the major challenge is getting songs in regular rotation on radio stations. She also said that fans should expect a difference in her music. "Mi a bring high-energy entertainment to the music and extra vibes." Sharrie, who is busy in the studios for the summer, said there is a new single on its way, featuring Merciless, called Teach Yu How. "It ago mad, suh please look out for that, among others," she said. Elephant Man recently performed at Reggae Sumfest and is currently busy recording and releasing new songs for the summer.
