Man injured in three-vehicle crash died |

|
One of five people injured in a three-vehicle collision on Marcus Garvey Drive on saturday night has died. He has been identified as George Lewis. The other four people remain in hospital. According to the Denham Town police and the Accident Investigation Reconstruction Unit (AIRU), a grey Honda motor car was heading towards downtown Kingston about 11:45 p.m. when it jumped the median and crashed into two other cars - a brown Nissan Sunny and a white Suzuki Swift - which were heading in the opposite direction. Five persons, Lewis, the drivers of the three cars and a fifth person who is yet to be indentified, were injured in the incident. The five were taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where they were admitted in serious condition. Lewis later succumbed to his injuries. Investigations continue. |
